Yes. The 4 GB plan with 120 GB NVMe runs a pruned Bitcoin Core node comfortably. For an archival full node (~600 GB and growing), you'll want the 8 GB plan with 240 GB NVMe and a Floating IP for stable inbound connections, or pair it with our higher-tier plans for headroom.

Will my BTC node sync faster on this VPS than at home?
Usually, yes. Initial Block Download (IBD) is bottlenecked by disk IO and bandwidth. Pure NVMe and 40 Gbps uplinks mean a fresh full sync takes hours instead of days, vs spinning rust + a residential connection at home.

What about Lightning Network nodes?

Is the BTC payment anonymous?
We don't require KYC for the BTC payment path on standard plans. We do collect an email for billing and account access, and we comply with applicable AML laws if there's a clear case for compliance review. Most users pay with BTC with no friction.

Can I run other crypto software (mining pool, mempool explorer, BTCPay)?
Yes. The VPS is yours, install whatever runs on Linux. BTCPay Server runs well on the 4 GB plan; a personal mempool.space mirror runs on the 8 GB plan; mining pool software depends on hashrate (the VPS is for the orchestration, not the hashing).

Is bandwidth metered for full-node traffic?
Each plan has a transfer allotment. A full archival Bitcoin Core node with default settings uses roughly 200-500 GB/month outbound when serving the network. The 4 GB plan's 5 TB allotment covers that comfortably; if you exceed it, we alert you instead of throttling.
